Mr. Babanrao Dighe president of Krushi Seva Sangh, Visapur started his career in dedicating in Human Welfare development programme in 1985 after completing his graduation in B.Com. Inspired from Shri. Annaji Hazare dedicating his life in social welfare development, Mr. Babanrao Dighe decide to serve his own village – “Mauje Chambhurdi”, Tal. Shrigonda, Dist. A’Nagar first.
Krushi Seva Sangh is a registered public trust, under Bombay Public Trust Act 1960, established in 1989 (Rule 29 of the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950).
The trust begin its activities from year 1990, with activities as like Agro Forestry. The organization has provided community-well to poor farmers for self-sufficient water supply for their agricultural activities, as like as DPAP Watershed Project, Apla Pani Water supply project supported by KFW Bank & Maharashtra Government, one of the renowned activity taken up by the government to make each and every village self sufficient water .
The organization worked in the IWMP Watershed Programme as a PIA (Project Implement Agency), DRO (District Resource Organization), LRA (Livelihood Resource Agency) the 100 villages in Ahmednagar district. Conservation of Natural Resources Management & Sustainable Agriculture by up-gradation of Sustainable Livelihood.
